Amneal Pharmaceuticals launches an FDA-approved potassium phosphates injection, USP. The injection is indicated as a source of phosphorus in intravenous fluids to correct hypophosphatemia in adult and pediatric patients when oral or enteral replacement is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated; and for parenteral nutrition in adult and pediatric patients when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. The injection is available in 5 mL, 15 mL, and 50 mL polypropylene vials.
