Vaisala launches a subscription-based SaaS application, viewLinc Cloud, the cloud native version of its viewLinc software for Continuous Monitoring System (CMS). It allows organizations to monitor, alarm, and report on facility conditions, helping to ensure compliance with industry regulations. The system will be expanded in three phases, ultimately becoming a tiered system where users can select the features that they need. Data loggers installed on-site record the temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels, and the encrypted data is then transmitted via Vaisala’s proprietary VaiNet wireless protocol to viewLinc’s database in the cloud. Users can view the data via any standard web browser, and any deviation from the permitted measurements is automatically reported.
