Health Care Logistics (HCL) and AmerisourceBergen collaborate to enable users of AmerisourceBergen’s RFID tagged products to take advantage of HCL’s inventory management solution, Stat Stock. The system is automated and RFID-based to help minimize replenishment time and keep expired medication out of rotation. It allows the pharmacy team to instantly identify and locate expired or recalled medication anywhere in the facility and then replenish or remove items accordingly. The software allows users to track inventory, improve supply costs, and manage drug products from anywhere, via internet connectivity. Together with Stat Stock, users of AmerisourceBergen’s tagged products can help reduce manual data entry errors and manage drug shortages.
