Stephanie Klepser, PharmD, has been the director of clinical services at the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies (KCMS) Pharmacy since January 2010. She earned her pharmacy degree with highest distinction from Ferris State University in 2007 and subsequently completed a post-graduate pharmacy practice (PGY1) residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Klepser is an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists and has been involved with several different research protocols evaluating innovative pharmacy models in the community setting, including the use of rapid diagnostic testing for diseases such as HIV, influenza, and group A streptococcus. In this capacity, she has had direct responsibility for developing and implementing a number of innovative pharmacist-run clinical programs, including a comprehensive pharmacy-based travel health clinic. She is one of the only health professionals in West Michigan to achieve her Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine.
