Amanda Wollitz, PharmD, BCPS, BCSCP, FISMP is executive director of pharmacy–quality and regulatory affairs at AdventHealth Central Florida Division South. She holds a PharmD from Mercer University, completed her residency training at UF Health Jacksonville (Formerly Shands Jacksonville Medical Center), and completed a fellowship in 2013 with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices in Horsham, Pennsylvania. In her current role, she is responsible for Pharmacy and Therapeutics coordination, policy creation, review, and implementation and oversees the Pharmacy Quality program for 10 hospitals and associated free standing Emergency Departments and infusion centers in AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division. Amanda joined AdventHealth in 2014 as the Medication Safety Coordinator and later expanded her role to include diversion prevention and quality oversight. Today, her reach expands to corporate services for AdventHealth through creation and oversight of the company-wide compounding compliance committee and company-wide diversion prevention committee.
