Alisa Schantz, RN, is the supply chain specialist for procurement services for UIHC. She received her nursing degree from Kirkwood Community College and practiced critical nursing for 17 years at UIHC prior to transitioning to procurement services/supply chain. Alisa has been the clinical liaison for the department, focusing on product implementation and conversions, providing financial impact analysis, assisting with vendor negotiations and contracting, ensuring multidepartment collaboration, and coordinating supply availability with departmental needs.
