A growing majority of hospital pharmacies (61%) take advantage of outsourcing opportunities for compounded products, with 74% of midsized hospitals (101-500 beds) outsourcing at least some of their compounded products. Given the high satisfaction rates outsourced vendors receive, it is no surprise that continued growth is predicted for this marketplace.
