Cleanroom renovations continued at a brisk pace in 2009. In addition, most facilities took advantage of this opportunity to renovate other areas of the pharmacy as well. The effects of the economy were apparent, however, as pharmacists reported increasing difficulty in getting budget approval for renovations. Nonetheless, cleanroom
renovations are predicted to continue over the next few years though at a slightly slower pace than last year.
