The number of facilities with an environmental monitoring plan in place continues to grow: 74% of facilities report having a plan in place this year versus 62% last year, and this percentage is projected to increase next year. There are also increases this year in the number of facilities using volumetric air samplers, challenge-testing monitoring equipment, and outsourced vendors to conduct environmental monitoring.
