While IV workflow systems garner a 98% satisfaction rate, just one-quarter of users deem their vendor to be excellent, suggesting there is room for further improvement in these systems.
Planned implementation rates are strongest in mid- and large-sized facilities.
BD, Baxter, and Omnicell are receiving strong consideration from those pharmacy directors looking to implement IV workflow systems. The other category includes those facilities looking to utilize the functionality in their EHR system to provide IV workflow oversight.
