A slim majority of the smallest facilities have dedicated automation resources available. However, in the vast majority of these facilities this resource is not a full-time position.

While most pharmacy informaticist resources in hospitals with 101-200 beds are part-time, this year saw an increase in both the number of facilities adding the informaticist role for the first time and the number of facilities expanding this role to a full-time position.
