 Data Loggers from Onset

The InTemp CX500 Temperature, CX600 Dry Ice, and CX700 Cryogenic Loggers from Onset are temperature monitoring solutions for storage and in-transit monitoring of temperature-sensitive products. They enable easy access and sharing of temperature data at multiple points in the supply chain, through the point of patient dosing. InTemp storage and transportation loggers communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to the free InTemp app on a mobile device. This reduces set-up and readout times, allowing logistics and quality personnel to access temperature data without opening a box or refrigerator. With a tap of a button, operators can document trips and obtain actionable information, enabling proactive product-disposition decisions.

The InTemp app syncs with the InTempConnect Cloud reporting and analytics tool, which provides command-center control over the supply chain. This fully integrated solution ensures secure electronic records and a reduced paper trail, streamlining the audit process and prioritizing quality delivery of goods. With the InTemp CX Gateway device, users receive an automatic data download from all loggers within range of the device, eliminating the need for manual interaction to retrieve the temperature data, while providing real-time email or text notifications straight to any mobile device.

Continuous Automated Monitoring from Rees Scientific

Rees Scientific provides continuous automated monitoring for the health care industry, with an FDA compliant monitoring system that helps monitor critical assets, equipment, and environments such as cleanrooms and compounding pharmacies. With a focus on monitoring cold storage (refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms), ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, light), and room conditions (temperature, humidity, differential pressure, particle counts), the Rees Scientific system can monitor a diverse facility with multiple locations while providing immediate data access and sophisticated analysis from any desktop computer, tablet, or phone. Instant alarm notifications are available via local sonic, interactive dialed telephone, escalating email and text messaging, at any time of the day or night. The sales and engineering team assists in implementing the best system according to each facility’s needs; the system can be stand-alone, network, or Web-based, and can be hard wired, wireless, WiFi, or cloud based. The system provides automated daily printouts, alarm notification, audit trails, and complete data encryption. These standard features help organizations meet compliance for USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA, ASHP, GMP, Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements.

VersaTrak from Veracity Group

VersaTrak from Veracity Group is a secure, easy-to-use, enterprise level solution, designed to support a variety of departments within any hospital infrastructure. It offers system security that protects data by compartmentalizing access for each department from changes made by other departments, including military spec security user access protocols.

The system’s browser-based software is simple to use and maintain, with its patented ANC (automatic node calibration) performing an automatic weekly self-audit, providing updated traceability certificates. VersaTrak Mobile is offered for users offsite, and a variety of hardware options are available, including WiFi and 900 MHz, with mix-and-match capabilities, and a variety of general purpose and lab-grade probes (temperature, humidity, pressure, CO2, and more). All products are NIST-traceable.VersaTrak also offers a mobile app, keeping the system at users’ fingertips around the clock.

SmartScan Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Systems

The SmartScan temperature and humidity monitoring systems are engineered to meet the unique needs of the pharmacy, laboratory, and clean environments. Each system setup is custom designed to meet the user’s requirements. Available hardware components include wired, 900 mHz long-range wireless, and a variety of WiFi and Bluetooth capable options. Each group of sensors can be part of a total monitoring solution, allowing for remote collection of temperature data, alarms, notifications, and the necessary reporting to satisfy regulatory requirements. Bluetooth-enabled DQ sensors ensure local connectivity for real-time viewing of temperature readings on a smartphone or tablet. All available system configurations offer sensors for ambient temperature, probes for refrigerators and freezers, and a range of other monitoring options including humidity, differential pressure, CO2 levels, and I/O capabilities, such as door-open status. The EZcal calibration system eases annual recalibration by simply replacing the sensor probe. SmartScan Technologies is an ISO 17025 accredited calibration lab, and all sensors are manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 facility. The system meets ISO 14644 requirements and conforms to the data integrity stipulations specified in FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

AeroScout T15e from STANLEY Healthcare

The AeroScout T15e from STANLEY Healthcare is a WiFi based temperature tag for monitoring conditions across the health care enterprise. The tag uses a single probe to provide continuous measurement and data logging of refrigerators or freezers. The T15e tag can be supplied with a NIST traceable certificate of calibration compliant to ISO 17025:2005, and meets all the CDC requirements for VFC data loggers. The AeroScout T15e provides local audible and visual alerts and works with STANLEY Healthcare’s MobileView platform to provide real-time alerting and reporting for temperature monitoring solutions.

Its display shows current conditions and offers visual and audio out-of-range alerts, and the battery maintains a typical life of 24 months, with easy battery replacement. The system can keep months’ worth of data safe in the event of a network outage, and over-the-air programming is available with enterprise security, or a local iOS device can be used. The expanded temperature range allows coverage in all hospital departments, even cryogenic monitoring. The system is One-Touch VFC compliant with current, minimum, and maximum temperature displays and a single button press audit process with visual confirmation of success.

Cooper-Atkins 93025 SysCal Calibration System

The Cooper-Atkins 93025 SysCal Calibration System helps simplify the recalibration process of probes (including temperature, humidity, and ultralows) in order to increase accuracy and save resources. A patented process allows recalibration of each probe and transmitter monitoring device in tandem and in-situ. Recalibration with both the transmitter and probe in their natural monitoring environment increases the accuracy of the calibration. On-site calibration of temperature and humidity eliminates the need to send transmitters back to the factory or to third-party labs.

The TempTrak software, used in conjunction with the on-site calibration service, provides the ability to electronically store calibration certificates for easy recall during inspections.

 Sentinel Next from Argus Labs

Sentinel Next from Argus Labs communicates via an existing WiFi network to a robust cloud service. Beyond the environmental sensors, no additional hardware is needed. Further, no additional software is required, as the data is available via web interface or mobile app (offered on both iOS and Android devices). The sensors monitor a variety of parameters including temperature, relative humidity, CO2, differential pressure, dry contact, and leak detection. The cloud service offers live monitoring with customizable alerting capabilities with historical records for regulatory compliance. The system is 21 CFR part 11 compliant and includes an IQ/OQ validation protocol. All hardware and software components are designed and built by Argus Labs.

EDL-Beacon from Marathon Products

The EDL-Beacon from Marathon Products allows users to monitor temperature conditions from up to 300 meters away with an app for either Android or iOS devices. Once the app is installed, all activated devices can be automatically detected and accessed. Time stamped temperature data can be saved to the phone, and then distributed via PDF. Device specifications include: temperature range from -20°C to 60°C, upper and lower alarm limits, instantly produced and saved graphs, and a battery life of 3 to 5 years. In addition, up to 50,000 data points can be saved, all data can be cleared by the software, and a Bluetooth function allows for long range of use.
