There has been a swift response to the requirement for creating a hazardous drug and substance list; 92% of facilities currently have one in place. There is a slight dropoff in the number of facilities that review and update their HD list as needed and at least annually, as well as those facilities that store the HD list in a convenient location to ensure all workers with potential exposure to HDs can access it. A more precipitous dropoff marks the number of facilities that include a severity classification for each HD and route of administration; just 68% of facilities have undertaken this task to date.
