The CPOE adoption rate continues to march toward 100%, as the few facilities currently without a system are planning an implementation within the next few years. Pharmacy directors continue to struggle with applying CPOE to 100% of medication orders, but the ongoing adoptions of integrated databases are expected to support progress toward this goal.
