While we are pleased to see at least one of the early prognostications of the Internet age has not come to fruition—that being the death of print—the value of the Internet has certainly exceeded its initial potential, and as a publishing company, we pride ourselves on building our digital presence alongside our print publications.

With a digital platform, we are able to provide infinitely more information than in a print magazine alone, including the content of past issues, white papers, Webinars, and other valuable pharmacy-practice-related documents. Among these tools is a downloadable, customizable Assessment of Risk form, courtesy of CriticalPoint (as mentioned in this month’s article—Perform an Assessment of Risk to Comply with USP <800> on page 26). Visit www.pppmag.com/assessmentofrisk to download the form today. In addition, a 340B Program Compliance Checklist is available to download at www.pppmag.com/340Bcompliance.

Pharmacy Purchasing & Products is able to reach a broad range of hospital pharmacy leaders via peer-to-peer editorial content and the comprehensive surveys we conduct throughout the year, including the forthcoming State of Pharmacy Compounding Survey. Many of you participated in this year’s survey, our 10th annual, which has yielded another crop of valuable benchmarking and compounding practices data. This is just one example of our periodic surveys, and we hope you will continue to participate so that we can continue to identify and serve your needs.

As always, we welcome your feedback on everything we do at Pharmacy Purchasing & Products. If you have any suggestions, or find any issues with either our print materials or our online digital content, please drop us a note.

All the best,

R. Mitchell Halvorsen
Publisher

P.S. The staff of PP&P would like to congratulate the randomly selected winner of our recent Hazardous Drug Compounding Survey—Angela Obermiller, PharmD, pharmacy supervisor at CHI Health St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska. As the winner, Angi received an Apple Watch Sport and a Belkin Valet charge dock. Thank you to all our participants and keep an eye on your email inboxes, as you could be our next big winner!
