Five years ago, manual documentation of temperature monitoring was the norm, followed by hard-wired temperature monitoring systems, with just one-quarter of facilities utilizing wireless temperature monitoring systems. That scenario has now reversed itself; the number of facilities using wireless temperature monitoring has doubled to 50% of all US hospitals.
