A consistent number of facilities continue to outsource at least some of their repackaging needs. While the number of mid-sized facilities (201-400 beds) relying on outsourcing remains the same as last year, the number of the largest facilities (400+ beds) outsourcing repackaging has risen slightly. Most facilities continue to utilize outsourcing to supplement in-house repackaging; more than three-quarters outsource less than 15% of their total repackaging volume.
