The incidence of bar code verification at the bedside continues its steady growth, with an impressive 29% increase from last year. For the first time, more hospitals have BCMA in place than do not—almost 60% of hospitals are using bar code verification at the patient bedside this year. 

Pharmacy remains a strong leader in BCMA implementations and decision-making, with 70% reporting high involvement in bar code verification projects.
