Long Grove Pharmaceuticals has reached a distribution agreement with the US FDA Office of Drug Shortages to make available existing inventory of AK-FLUOR, Fluorescein Injection, USP manufactured by Akorn Pharmaceuticals, to help fill a supply shortage of Fluorescein Injection, USP. AK-FLUOR is indicated in diagnostic fluorescein angiography or angioscopy of the retina and iris vasculature. It is currently available as a 12-pack of 10% (100 mg/mL 5 mL vials) and 25% (250 mg/mL 2 mL vials).
