Pearson Medical Technologies announces the release of the new m:Print bar code labeling software version 4.0, with 1-Click Print technology. The system parses, reads, and inputs the data contained in the new Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) bar code required on medication container labels. Using proprietary algorithms and a rules-based workflow, the software calculates the beyond-use date and inputs all standard label information with one scan. The platform can print any label on any media using any Windows-driven printer. Proprietary algorithms calculate and select all label data with 1-Click Print to create customized and serialized DSCSA-compliant bar code labels for vials, pouches, boxes, ampules, syringes, IV bags, or other packaging. The network version also has a remote pharmacist approval function.
