Bluesight Insights, offered by Kit Check, debuts a shortages module designed to integrate shortage signaling standards from the market, FDA, and ASHP, with supply chain data to help facilities prioritize and respond to relevant shortages. With this new module, the software is able to optimize medication spending more efficiently and also may be used as a tool for automatically prioritizing drug shortages based on external signaling and hospital purchasing. Additionally, the system introduces workflow and communication tooling around the analytics, ensuring incorporation into established shortage response efforts to help increase efficiencies.
