Rees Scientific, a temperature monitoring company, announces its subsidiary, Presidio Labs, has received 17025 accreditation following an assessment of the management processes and technical competence for electrical and thermodynamic calibration. Presidio Labs performs extensive in-house analysis to calibrate and certify all temperature monitoring probes. First, the probes are tested via water baths and a high-precision standard platinum resistance thermometer. Next, the probes are tested by trained field service technicians, who calibrate the sensors using highly accurate dry blocks. Finally, the probes are subjected to environmental stability chambers to test for temperature and humidity.
