Relay Robotics, Inc, a manufacturer of autonomous service robots, introduces its newest hospital robot, RelayRx. RelayRx delivers twice the capacity (10 gallons, 41 liters) of earlier models with an expanded 8-inch touchscreen. The robot rides elevators in hospitals autonomously by leveraging proprietary elevator technology for operation. This enables the RelayRx robot to navigate independently throughout an entire hospital, connecting departments such as the pharmacy and blood bank with patient rooms with an average delivery time of 7 minutes.
