Grifols launches the Albutein FlexBag (Albumin [Human] USP) in 5% and 25% concentrations. The bag features a port that is designed to be easy to use and easy to spike, helping to minimize both bubble accumulation during infusion and needle sticks. The bag also features a flexible container for simple storage and convenience, with no requirements for vented infusion sets or filters. The 5% and 25% bags come in two sizes each. The 5% concentration features 250 mL and 500 mL bags, and the 25% concentration features 50 mL and 100 mL bags. All bags are USFDA approved. Both the container and protective overwrap are latex-free and do not contain polyvinyl chloride (PVC), diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), or other plasticizers.
