RxMedic introduces the RM64, a robotic dispensing solution that can fill up to 300 prescriptions per hour. The robot fills multiple prescriptions simultaneously, can process five prescriptions a minute, and is able to count any size or shape pill. The user interface allows for fast and convenient prescription retrieval and the carousel collating area sorts filled prescriptions, making them easy to locate. A digital photo of the vial contents is taken to help reduce human error and eliminate cross-contamination risk. Equipped with a new touch-screen layout, the RM64 is simple to restock.
