Sensaphone introduces the Sentinel system, which provides 24/7 remote monitoring of pharmaceutical freezers and refrigerators. The system detects a problem, such as temperature changes (from -109°F to 168°F), humidity fluctuations, water leaks, and power outages, and immediately sends phone, text, or email alerts to personnel. Unlimited cloud-based data storage allows all sensor readings to be saved to provide verification that pharmaceuticals are within the temperature limits required for quality assurance. One Sentinel unit monitors up to 12 different conditions, and users can choose from either the Ethernet-based system or the cellular option for locations without Internet access.
