Veltek Associates provides WipeDown 1-2-3, a simple, sterile, three-step applicator kit. Each kit contains three unique packets of sterile, USP <797> compliant, saturated wipers. The proper sequence and application of the kit renders most hazardous drugs inactive on the compounding surface, reducing the risk of occupational exposure. The kit contains one each of the following sterile 9 x 12 saturated wipes: packet one contains HYPO-CHLOR (5.25% sodium hypochlorite) for deactivation; packet two contains THIO-WIPE (2% thiosulfate) for decontamination; and packet three contains ALCOH-WIPE (70% USP IPA) for disinfecting and cleaning.
