Terra Universal’s USP <797> compounding aseptic isolators (CAIs) feature a shallow depth for easy access and removal of rear components, which saves time and simplifies work processes. A convenient IV rod is included to make compounding easier. This model prevents the need to move the glovebox isolator away from the wall to change the filters or remove baffles for sterilization. Users simply lift the front swinging door and lift the baffles out using the handles. After autoclaving, the baffles are replaced in a similar manner. The CAI meets requirements for an aseptic isolator, creating an internal Class 100 (ISO 5) environment. A sliding door separates the antechamber from the main processing chamber, and each are monitored by an independent pressure gauge.
